Misti Sandefur - Illinois Freelance Writer Bio

Learn more about the freelance writer who can help you take your business to the next level.

I guess you could say I was born to write since it has been a passion of mine since I was 8 years of age. I feel God blessed me with the talent, so in order to show my appreciation to Him, I use my writing and (when I’m financially able) the income from my God-given talent to help others.

I pen short stories, personal essays, articles, blogs, and e-books with the intention that through words I’ll help, inspire and entertain many. When clients, readers, and fans send me feedback letting me know I’ve helped them in some way, I smile knowing that everything I did was worth it.

Each day that I sit down to write, I look forward to sharing my knowledge, experience, and blessings with others!

As a dedicated freelance writer, I offer blog writing and SEO copywriting services. My current and past clients consist of small business owners, webmasters, SEO companies, publishers, book producers, and fellow writers who have too much on their plates and need to hire a writer to help them shine.

Not only do I write for others, but I’m the founder and editor of Living Frugally. As an editor, I have experience working with other freelance writers, editing content, brainstorming ideas, marketing, and much more.

What I do when I’m not working as a freelance writer.

I reside inside a small community located in Southern Illinois. Together, as a blended family, my husband and I have five grown children (three boys and two girls), seven grandchildren (four girls and three boys), and a very spoiled redbone coonhound.

I truly love being a freelance writer, because… well, I guess you could say it’s in my blood. Yes, I have that big of a passion for writing and helping others succeed. However, I also enjoy stepping outside of the writing life to spend quality time with my family. Some of the things we do, which we all enjoy, are fishing, hunting, and camping. We love pretty much anything to do with the great outdoors! In fact, some of my best writing is written outdoors.
